On 4 November 2021, the 7th National BRZO Congress took place in Utrecht. Participants in this congress were parties in the chain: governments, inspection services, BRZO companies, research and engineering firms and other interested parties.
It was an instructive and inspiring edition with presentations on topics such as:
- Inspection topics of 2022; by Rosita Thé, Director, DCMR Environmental Protection Agency Rijnmond and Charlotte Kottier, Project Manager Process Safety Developments, Inspectorate SZW
- Chronic exposure to hazardous substances
- Sense and nonsense about PFAS-containing automatic fire-fighting foams and the transition to fluorine-free (F3) fire-fighting foams
- Environmental monitoring and self-assessment by companies; the latest pilots and developments with regard to near-RBZO companies
- Incident analysis from the government and the business community; incident analyses that meet government expectations
- Focus areas; dealing with stakeholders in the context of focus areas
- ATEX & mobile equipment
- Climate challenges and new risks for BRZO companies
